What customers say?

“ We had a late breakfast at Tiny Timbers and were not disappointed. Such a cute eatery with excellent food/coffee! We decided to enjoy our meal outside and soak up the cool August morning on their patio. We'll definitely visit this place again when we're back in the area! ”

“ While leaf peeping in Creed Colorado, the first week of October, we were surprised to find out that most of the town was literally closed for the season. The only restaurant that we thought was open, was closed that day for a football game. After traveling up through the mining area and taking some stunning, fall pictures, we headed to South Fork in search of sustenance! 22 miles east of Creed we discovered the restaurant at Tiny Timbers Resort. One look at the menu told us this place was exactly what we were looking for! They have a very wide variety of hot beverages including chai teas, coffees and hot chocolate. As it was a chilly and blustery day, we did not take advantage of the unique cold drinks but plan on checking them out in warmer weather. As it was fairly late in the afternoon when we arrived, most of the home-baked goods were gone, however, they had a lovely menu for breakfast and lunch. Members of the family reported the burritos were fabulous, the green chili, spicy and flavorful, and the gravy stupendous! One of the grands and I had the croissant French toast and it was to die for! The eggs were prepared to order, and everything was brought to our table piping hot! The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing, with the kitchen area adjacent to the souvenir and local delicacies shop. Upstairs was a quiet, comfortable area where you could take your coffee and do paperwork, read, or kick back and relax. The entire restaurant, as well as the bathroom, was well maintained, and spotlessly clean. The tiny home resort is located on the other side of the restaurant which includes a nice playground and a lovely little pond. The staff was extremely kind and friendly and explained in detail the unique differences in their coffees and teas. We absolutely loved this place and plan on going back again The next time we are traveling to Denver, or Gunnison? Who knows, we may get a wild hair and just go there for breakfast one day! We highly recommend this place for families, couples and singles as a breakfast or lunch spot. Keep in mind they do close at 2:00. ”

“ Breakfast was fantastic. You order at the front and they bring your food to you. I had the biscuits and gravy which were great. Waited a while for my coffee, but that was ok. They were very busy when we went. Food came out as expected but our group waited for drinks and coffee. Would definitely go again. ”

“ I like that their coffee menu is simple. Their sign said house made syrups so I ordered the lavender latte and Vanilla Bean Latte. They were both delicious. Three service was kind and I loved the music choice playing while I waited. Cory Asbury, Reckless love of God was playing and I teared up. Jesus + Coffee, can't go wrong there. ”

“ Only had breakfast here. It was amazing! The vege spinach wrap was absolutely delish! My husband's eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. I got green tea with their homemade lavender syrup - superb! Highly recommend! ”

“ Absolutely THE best spot for breakfast, lunch or coffee with a pastry in South Fork, Colorado! Their big breakfast is indeed big and delicious if you're super hungry. Highly recommend the delicious frito pie with a kick of spice! Their pastries are fresh everyday and to die for with a cuppa! The service is excellent and cheerful. We will definitely be back when in the area! ”

“ I’m a coffee snob from the PNW- this mornings coffee stop was delicious! 3 shot oatmilk white mocha. Raspberry creamcheese croissant, and blueberry muffin. The guy working the counter was thorough and super friendly. I was impressed with his coffee skills at such a young age. Will eat here often. ”

“ Great food, great coffee, very nice people. This is one of my favorite spots for breakfast and lunch in south fork. FYI service isn’t the fastest so don’t stop if you’re in a big hurry and it does get very busy especially during peak times. But it’s worth it! ”
